From the ED Corner
It has been a good year for our teams. And that has been a direct result of our combined provincial effort. With our clubs, coaches and high performance director working in tandem we are driving to a place where excellence is inevitable. The foundations have been laid for bigger, stronger teams in the years to follow. In Quebec city our seniors did very well at the nationals, and in St. Hyacinthe our Junior C, Youth and FTS competitors steamrolled the competition. Next up on the docket is the Canada winter games. The sport alliance and our Ministry have supported us financially for this endeavour and we have put in a lot of time and effort with these youths through training camps and scientific testing. Many of our future training plans will be based on the scientific feedback we have received from these sessions. I would like to take a quick moment to say a quick thanks to our board of directors, coaches, high performance director, those who donated food and equipment, selfless gym owners, the *Canadian Sport Centre – Ontario, and all those who have volunteered and supported all the work we have done this year leading up to these games.

Please do follow our Canada Winter Games Team and don't forget to watch them in the finals as they take home the gold on Friday 2/25, 9:30pm – Boxing Finals – TSN2.
